Discord Authentication & Auto-Roles
Enable Discord login and automatically assign roles upon approval
Configure Discord authentication for your whitelist forms and automatically assign Discord roles when applications are approved.
Prerequisites
Before configuring Discord authentication:
- Discord Bot Setup - Add the Fivemanage Bot to your server
- Form Created - Have at least one whitelist form ready
- Roles Created - Set up Discord roles you want to assign
Enabling Discord Authentication
Step 1: Access Form Settings
- Navigate to app.fivemanage.com
- Select your whitelist form
- Go to the Settings tab
- Find Form Authentication section
Step 2: Enable Discord Login
- Toggle "Enable Discord Authentication" to ON
- This requires users to log in with Discord before submitting
When enabled, users must authenticate with Discord to access the form. This ensures you can verify their Discord identity and assign roles accurately.
Setting Up Auto-Apply Roles
Step 1: Enable Discord Workflow
- Still in Settings tab
- Find Workflow Settings section
- Toggle "Enable Discord Workflow" to ON
Step 2: Configure On Approval Actions
In the On Approval section:
- Click the role selection dropdown
- You'll see all roles from your Discord server
- Select roles to assign when application is approved
- Can select multiple roles
Only roles below the Fivemanage Bot in the hierarchy will appear. See Discord Bot Setup to fix role positioning.
Step 3: Save Configuration
- After selecting roles, click Update Settings
- Configuration saves automatically
- Test with a sample application
